Outdoor Play Box

We keep an "Outdoor Play Box" of items for playing outdoors on the entry-way shelf. It's easy to grab a few items from it as we are heading out for playing in the yard or taking a walk. Here's what we have in it:

• bubbles
• sidewalk chalk
• a small spray bottle with water (get one that little fingers can grasp. We found a good one in the travel-size bins at Target)
• a foam paint brush for painting the fence with water
  
• a watering can
• binoculars and several cheap magnifying glasses (great for seeing things from a different perspective)
• a ball
