Simple Mom has a great post today about Reusable Shopping Bags.
I, too, am a big fan of using reusable bags. Many stores will give you a small discount or enter you in a drawing for free groceries for bringing your own bags. So, there are lots of benefits beyond the environmentally-friendly ones! Friends of ours gave away reusable shopping bags as their wedding favors (they had them custom printed with a cute graphic and date of their wedding). I thought this was a great idea!

A couple of years ago, I convinced my company to give out reusable shopping bags w/ the company logo rather than the cheap frisbees, baseball caps, etc.
ReplyDeleteNow Human Resources stuffs the reusable bags with all the new employee info and gives two to each new employee.
